Minnie Vance

Minnie Bell (Hall ) Vance was born on April 9, 1932 and her soul left this earth on August 5, 2016. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, of fifty-five years, Bill Vance, last February. “Minnie B” was the light of Bill’s life and we can only imagine the smile on his face as they embrace again in the presence of our Heavenly Father in the glorious Kingdom of Heaven. Minnie and Bill had two children, Janette Privett and husband, Jackie of Mammoth Springs, Arkansas and Alllen Vance and wife, Linda of Goldmine Springs, Arkansas. Minnie was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. She was passionate in her love of animals all of her life. She always had pets and was the unofficial “animal cop”of her neighborhood, quick to take to task those that didn’t take proper care of their cats and dogs. She was feisty and sweet. She was quick-tempered and kind. Minnie loved to shop and this was a hobby that Bill indulged with pleasure. Ever the fashion plate, she rarely met a funky piece of jewerly or a sassy shoe she didn’t like.

Minnie is survived by her two children, her four grandchildren; several great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.

The family would like to thank the staff of Shady Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Thayer for the excellent care they provided Minnie for the last few years. They would like to also thank Three Rivers Hospice for the care and compassion they showed not only to Minnie but also to those who loved her during her final days.
She will truly be missed by her family and many friends.

Funeral Services for Minnie Vance age 84, of Thayer, Missouri, will be held Sunday, August 7, 2016, at 3:00 PM at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Thayer, Missouri with Brother Charles Morgan officiating. Visitation will be froim 2:00 PM untill service time. Burial in the Camp Cemetery, Camp Arkansas, with services under the direction of Carter Funeral Home in Thayer.
