Mayme Elizabeth Francis Lee Wrenfrow was born the daughter of Roy Bowling and Mae (Cupp) Bowling on September 10, 1933, in Gatewood, Missouri and departed this life May 11, 2014, at West Plains, Missouri at the age of 80 years.

She was united in marriage on July 2, 1951, in Pocahontas, Arkansas to Hanford Wrenfrow, who preceded her in death on December 10, 1996.

She is survived by seven children, Rosie Branscum and husband, Jerry of Lonedell, Missouri, Hershel Wrenfrow and wife, Lisa of Myrtle, Missouri, Eve Webb of Myrtle, Missouri, Linda Murphy and husband, Joey of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas, Pat Blankenship and husband, Terry of Union, Missouri, Nancy Cunningham and husband, Devin of Glencoe, Arkansas, and Jerry Wrenfrow and wife, Kim of High Ridge, Missouri; fourteen grandchildren; twenty three great-grandchildren; two step great-grandchildren; two brothers, George Bowling and wife, Eleanor of Iowa and Charles Bowling and wife, Ruby of Crane, Missouri; one sister, Ida Mae Cypret of Hurley, Missouri; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; an infant son, John Roy Wrenfrow; one great grandchild; one brother, Gilbert Bowling and one sister, Thelma Anderson.

Mayme was employed by Puritan Fashions in Thayer, Missouri for many years. She enjoyed country and gospel music, reading, and growing pretty flowers in her yard. Most of all, she looked forward to the time spent with her family and often cooked a delicious home cooked meal for all to enjoy.

Mrs. Wrenfrow was of the Baptist faith. She was a dedicated homemaker, a devoted mother and a precious grandmother. She will truly be missed by family and friends.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at 10:00 AM in the Carter Funeral Home Chapel at Thayer, Missouri with Brother Richard Todd officiating.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 13th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Thayer.

Burial will be in the Byrd Cemetery near Myrtle, Missouri with services under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc. in Thayer.
