Mark Lynn Gerdes, age 60, of Pottersville, Missouri, came into this world on July 27, 1963, in Saan Bernardino, California, the son of Malvin and Ester (Knox) Gerdes and passed away on April 27, 2024, in Springfield, Missouri.
Mark married the love of his life Regina Riddle on March 9, 1984, in West Plains, Missouri. They were happily married for forty years.
Mark was an avid fisherman his favorite fish were bass and strippers. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Mark was loved by all who knew him and will be sadly missed by all that knew him.
He is survived by his wife Regina; one son Justin Gerdes, wife Amy of Pottersville, Missouri; one daughter, Andrea Gerdes, husband Bradley Thomas of Alabama; one brother Mike Gerdes of West Plains, Missouri; one sister, Suszanna Huckabee of West Plains, Missouri; five grandchildren, Mackenzie Roberts, Bryson Gerdes, Brayden Gerdes, Naveah Gerdes, Aila-wren Thomas; two great-great grandchildren Hunter Roberts and Tyriec Peoples Jr; several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers Jack Gerdes and Melvin Gerdes.
Graveside Services for Mark Gerdes, Age 60, of Pottersville, Missouri, will be held on Friday May 3, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. At the Pottersville Cemetery. Pottersville, Missouri with services under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc. in West Plains, Missouri.
