Malinda Patrice “Patti” Traw was born the daughter of Joe Darrell Harper and Linda Parker Harper Dispenza on May 10, 1967, in Fredericktown, Missouri, and departed this life July 3, 2015, at the University of Arkansas Medical Science in Little Rock, Arkansas, at the age of 48 years.

She was united in marriage on February 14, 1993, at Thayer, Missouri, to William Traw.

She is survived by her husband, William Traw of the home in Mammoth Spring, Arkansas; three sons, Jesse Joe Gaines of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas, Dustin Paul Gaines of Lenora, Tennessee, and Ethan Wade Gaines of Abbeville, Louisana; two grandchildren, Brady and Emma Gaines; her mother, Linda Dispenza of Dunnellon, Florida; two brothers, Michael Harper and wife, Tracy of Jenks, Oklahoma and Trevor John Harper and wife, Amber, of Thayer, Missouri; one sister, Angela Leanne Lee and husband, Richard of Thayer, Missouri; father and mother-in-law, Carrol and Brenda Traw; sister-in-law, Cathy and Carl Horton; brother-in-law, Gene Traw; five nieces; two nephews; other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Joe Harper and one niece, Savannah Harper.

Patti was co-owner of Spring River Fly and Bait Shop and Mammoth Spring Camp Ground.

She was of the Baptist faith, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, homemaker, and an excellent cook.

Patti loved to decorate and enjoyed networking with friends and working in the Fly and Bait Shop on Spring River.

She will be remembered as a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and sister and will truly be missed by her family and friends.

Funeral services for Malinda “Patti” Traw, age 48, of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas will be held, Monday, July 6, 2015 at 11:00 AM in Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Thayer.

The family will receive friends on Monday, from 10:00 AM until service time. Patti passed away Friday, July 3, 2015 at the University of Arkansas Medical Science in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Burial will be in Thayer Cemetery under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc. in Thayer.
