Leo Hall was born the son of James Andrew Hall and Lydia (Sorrell) Hall on November 26, 1928, in Myrtle, Missouri and departed this life November 8, 2013, in Thayer, Missouri at the age of 84 years.

He was united in marriage on May 5, 1951, in Pocahontas, Arkansas to Jueldine Honeycutt, who preceded him in death on March 4, 1989. He was united in marriage on August 24, 1991, in Thayer, Missouri to Mary (Rogers) Combs.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Hall of the home in Myrtle, Missouri; two sons, Don Hall of Myrtle, Missouri and Steve Hall and wife, Ronda of Thayer, Missouri; two granddaughters, Lisa Bowers and husband, Jeremy of Thayer, Missouri and Amanda Jens and husband, David of Pomona, Missouri; six great grandchildren, Brooke, Tessa, Lorrin and Addison Jens, Cole Bettis, and Kyle Bowers; four sisters-in-law and their husbands; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Lydia Hall; his wife, Jueldine Hall; and one grandson, Timothy Hall.

He served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict and was awarded the Occupation Medal while stationed in Germany.

Leo owned and operated a can milk hauling service for many years. He was also a successful livestock farmer and enjoyed working on the farm and raising cattle. Most of all, he loved his family and cherished time spent with them.

He was a Christian man and a faithful member of the Myrtle Free Will Baptist Church.

He will be remembered as a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, neighbor and friend. He will truly be missed by his family and the community in which he lived.

Funeral Services will be Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at 2:00 PM at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Thayer with Brother Ralph Douglas and Brother David Honeycutt officiating.

Visitation will be Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Carter Funeral Home in Thayer.

Burial will be in the Myrtle Cemetery with services under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc. in Thayer.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory, to the Myrtle Cemetery Fund and left at the Funeral Home.

    Steve, my sympathy to all your family. I always admired your dad as a friend. He will be missed for sure. Just so sorry. Will remember your family in prayer today.
