Our family lost one of the great ones… He will be missed by us all. So much stuff can be said about Larry, but no one could have the fun that man could have. He taught me so much growing up working for him & Liz at his Golf Course in Carlyle, ILL. Playing golf was not one of them, lol. Owen Brickell your dad was one of the good guys, they don’t make them that way any more.

    Liz,

Please accept my deepest condolences; I pray that you and the rest of the family can take comfort in precious memories of the times you’ve shared with Larry. He will be missed by so many of us whose lives he has enriched over the years we have known him. I’ve always looked forward to seeing Larry (and you) at the reunions of our Class of 1964 and am so glad both of you were able to be part of the impromptu gathering some of us had last September.

    Dear Aunt Liz,
Uncle Larry was definitely unique! I remember when all the kids would gather around the tree, and toss a pecan to see who would ask him to do his “Auctioneering”!
I hope you are doing well, and know that I am thinking about you.
    God Bless,Love,Pam & the critters
