Funeral services for Jimmy L Coldiron, 76, Wichita, Kansas, formerly of Lanton, Missouri, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, August 11, 2022, at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel, West Plains with Pastor Gary Barrett officiating, under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc., West Plains.

He was born the son of the late Ed Coldiron and Marie Coldiron Peterson, on September 11, 1945 in Lanton, Missouri and died August 3, 2022 in Wichita, Kansas.

He was united in marriage September 7, 1968 in Peace Valley, Missouri to Ramona Green.

He is survived by his wife, Ramona Green Coldiron; three children, Jacky Ray Coldiron, Wichita, Kansas, Jimmy Neal Coldiron and wife Trish, Pretty Prarie, Kansas, and Pamela Sue Elliott and husband Knowle, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; one brother, Larry Coldiron and wife Diana, Wichita, Kansas; one sister, Pat Dixon and husband, George, West Plains, Missouri; six grandchildren, Justin Miller and wife Brooke, Derby, Kansas, Bradley Miller wife Marie, Wichita, Kansas, Skylar Tafolla and husband, Emilio, Pretty Prairie, Kansas, Jade Harris, Norman, Oklahoma, Jolten Harris and wife Adrian, Norman, Oklahoma, and Jance Harris, Norman, Oklahoma; six great grandchildren, with one on the way; two sisters-in-law, Fern Coldiron, Springfield, Missouri and Pat Coldiron, Wichita, Kansas and one aunt, Wanda Holloway, and many nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his father and mother-in-law Pat and Edith Green; three brothers, Roy, Gene, and Dean Coldiron.

Jimmy loved to play the guitar, sing Karoke and enjoyed doing woodworking. He also loved to work in his vegetable garden. He enjoyed visiting and talking with his friends and neighbor families. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 10, 2022 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Carter Funeral Home Chapel, West Plains, Missouri.

Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery, Peace Valley, Missouri, under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc., West Plains.

    So sorry to hear about Jimmy’s passing. My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time. I’m sorry that I won’t be able to come to offer my condolences in person but I have a lot of health problems. May God be with you.
