    Peg & Family
We were saddened to hear about Jerry’s sudden death. We offer our sympathy and condolences to you and the family. May God comfort and strengthen all of you at this
sad time. I pray that God surround you with his love.

I have so many good memories of Jerry when we would visit them for 2 or 3 days
each summer. One was jello, I think Jerry had jello at every meal. I guess he was 2
or 3 years old. Another one was ants. We (Aunt Edna, Jerry, mother, Willard & me)
were standing in the front yard, near a tree with ants crawling around the base of the
tree, Jerry said, that’s piss ants. I remember Aunt Edna saying JERRY!!!!

I know, he will be missed by many friends and family. Cherish and remember all the
good times that Jerry brought into each life.

    Love, Virgie & Jimmy

Jerry always had a good story to tell. Some were serious, but most were ended in a good life lesson or humor. Then there were many inventions…the potato gun, the old car with the engenuis radio station changer in the floor where the dimmer switch once was, were my favorites. He always had a project in the works. He took Selleck for a ride in his wooden boat, named after Jerrica. It started to fill up with water, but it never worried Jerry because he would get to spend more hours perfecting it. He took Paul for a ride in his new hot rod he had (almost) finished. It had no windshield, no seatbelts, no power steering. Paul & I decided that day Jerry should have used that car to scare off boyfriends courting his daughters! Jerry was a very intelligent man. I don’t know what his teachers would say about his study skills, but there wasn’t a thing he couldn’t figure out how to make or improve. Popular Mechanics magazines were always around the house, along with airplane magazines, and of course, the Farmers Almanac. I will always think of Jerry when I see a guitar. If I remember the story, Pa taught him how to play.:)
The thing I admired him most for was his ongoing effort to love all of us. He treated me like I was his biological daughter and he never introduced me as his step child. Thank you Jerry
for loving my mom too. Enjoy heaven Jerry… don’t leave too much sawdust laying around up there! Love you, Rochelle
