He was born on August 9, 1933 in Alton, MO to the late Ernest and Helen Sanders Wallace. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather to his family. Jack enjoyed hunting, working on his hobby farm, and raising Missouri Fox-trotters. In his earlier years, Jack managed a traveling youth baseball team, coached them to a championship season, and continued to love watching games of baseball, basketball, and football throughout his life.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Lida Elizabeth Warren Wallace; and their three children: daughter, Dorothy Helen Wallace of St. Louis, MO; son and daughter-in-law, Edward Dean and Pamela Sue Wallace of Douglasville, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa Beth and Darryn McGee of Tulsa, OK. I always enjoyed visiting with Jack about fox trotting horses and church. He was a good man in my opinion. My sympathy to the family.
