Hubert Dale Baldridge, a devoted husband, loving father, and doting grandfather, passed away on June 20, 2024, at the age of 60. He was born on November 21, 1963, in Pocahontas, Arkansas, the son of Elvern “Bean” Baldridge and Rachel Price. Hubert lived in Mathews, Missouri and was formerly of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas.
Hubert will be remembered for his passion for collecting antiques, axes, hatchets, farm tools, anvils, and guitars. He enjoyed playing pool, indulging in good food, RVing, racing, and music. His love for his family was unmatched, and he strived to ensure their success beyond his time on earth. He established Baldridge Waste Solutions, a business he was delighted to pass on as a lasting legacy.
Raised in the Pentecostal faith, Hubert held his beliefs close to his heart throughout his life. He valued the importance of family and imparted wisdom with his famous words, “If you listen, you will learn.”
Hubert is survived by his mother, Rachel Price Baldridge, his wife of 43 years, Cheryl Johnson Baldridge, and their children: Justin Baldridge, Derick Baldridge (Shaunda), Jesse Baldridge (Amber), Kirsten Lucas, Tia Baldridge and Samuel Baldridge. He took great pride in being a foster parent for twelve years, and in 2008, he and Cheryl were honored as Foster Parents of the Year.
He was a cherished grandfather to Sebastian Baldridge, Gavin Baldridge, Zoey Baldridge, Isaac Nelson, Madison Goodman, Peyton Goodman, Jaxon Goodman, Benson Baldridge, Barron Baldridge, Serenity McClenaehan, Wyatt Mitchell, Luka Hernandez, Emili Lucas, Wesley Lucas, and Everett Baldridge.
In addition to his immediate family, Hubert leaves behind his nieces Dawnisa Avery, Leah Foster, Leann Moss, Briana Maxwell, and nephews Jason Moss and Dennis Baldridge. He is also survived by his siblings Norma Moss, Bonita Vaughn, and Wilma Collins. Hubert held a special place in his heart for his cousin David Baldridge and Uncle Pap Baldridge.
Hubert is preceded in death by his father Elvern “Bean” Baldridge, brother Paul Baldridge, and granddaughter Addison Baldridge.
Hubert Dale Baldridge’s memory will be cherished by all who knew him. He will forever be remembered for his kind heart, selflessness, and the love he shared with his family.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 23, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Thayer, Missouri.
Visitation will be Sunday, June 23, 2024 from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Thayer, Missouri.
Interment will be on Sunday, June 23, 2024, in Thayer Cemetery, Thayer, Missouri.

A man’s legacy is measured on how others remember him and how he made people feel. Hubert has touched many lives and as Priscilla stated, as young cousins have many memories that I remember and cherish.
