Homer Isom Howard, 80, West Plains, Missouri died March 29, 2014 at his home in West Plains.
Church services will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. at Central Church of Christ, West Plains, Missouri.
Mr. Howard will lie in state Tuesday, April 1st thru Friday, April 4th, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. On Saturday, April 5, 2014, he will lie in state from 8:00 a.m. to noon.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to either Children’s Homes, Inc., 5515 Walcott Road, Paragould, AR 72450 or Fair Haven Children’s Home, 3132 N. Fair Haven Loop, Strafford, MO 65757.

To the family of Homer, I had a life long friend in him. We started at the one room Sylvan
School with his sisters Edith and Marybelle.

We were so sorry to learn of Homer’s passing, but know that he is with his Lord. He gave our little youth group at church so much care and attention when I was a kid, and I grew to appreciate that even more through the years. You, his family, are in our thoughts and prayers.
