Funeral services for Glendell Keith Brewer, 77, Pottersville, Missouri, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 3, 2017, at the First Missionary Baptist Church, Pottersville, Missouri, with Pastor Jerry Arnold officiating, under the direction of Carter Funeral Home,Inc., West Plains.

He was born the son of the late Joe Brewer and Fonda Blankenship Brewer, on March 5, 1940 in Alton, Missouri and died September 29, 2017 in Pottersville, Missouri.

He was united in marriage October 4, 1960 in Alton, Missouri to Daisy Simpson.

He is survived by his wife, Daisy Simpson Brewer, of the home, Pottersville, Missouri; three children, Alvie Brewer, Springfield, Missouri; Jennifer Wilson and husband Robert, Pottersville, Missouri, and Shawanna Taylor and husband Rick, Pottersville, Missouri; one brother, Kyle James Brewer, Pottersville, Missouri; one sister, Gail Hand and husband Willard, Pottersville, Missouri; ten grandchildren, Alicia Luna and husband Rick, Dora, Missouri; Bradley Brewer and wife Ashley, Jefferson City, Missouri; Joni Bridges and fiancee Ben Crampton, West Plains, Missouri; Jessica Wharton and husband Brandon, West Plains, Missouri; Jason Palmer and fiancee Chelsey, Viola, Arkansas; Brodie Wilson, West Plains, Missouri; Tessa Wilson, West Plains, Missouri; Samantha Collins, West Plains, Missouri; Nichole Wilburn, West Plains, Missouri; Tyler Taylor, Winona, Missouri; seventeen great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Kenny Jo Brewer and Kelly Brewer.

He was a member and deacon at the First Missionary Baptist Church in Pottersville, Missouri. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, and friend to many, and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society and can be left at Carter Funeral Home, Inc., West Plains.

Visitation will be held Monday, October 2, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Carter Funeral Home, West Plains.

Burial will be in Many Springs Cemetery, Oregon County, Missouri, under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc., West Plains.
