So very sorry to learn of Mr. Comb’s passing. I know he will be greatly missed by his loving family. During the months he was in our bank, I came to gain a great deal of respect and admiration for him. He was an icon in the banking world, as well as a gentleman with a warm regard for his fellow man. Sincere condolences to his family.

How very sad for the area. Mr. Combs gave me many loans through the years at the Bank of Grandin-always kind and polite. I always remember a small inscription on his desk that said “contrary to popular opinion, God’s last name is not damn!”. Prayers for his family during this difficult time.
