Charles Robert Privett, Sr. was born in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas on October 15, 1960, the son of Jack Privett and Lorene Privett, and passed away on October 17, 2021 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Mississippi at the age of 61.
Charlie was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Lorene Privett; and one nephew, Kep Privett.
He is survived by one daughter, Christy (Kasey) Reeves; one son Charles Privett, Jr.; one sister, Karen Huff; seven brothers, Jackie (Janette) Privett, Larry Privett, Kenneth (Cathy) Privett, Terry (Sheila) Privett, Paul (Connie) Privett, Joel (Pat) Privett, and Randy Privett; three grandchildren, Kaleb Privett, Jordan Reeves and Liam Reeves; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; other relatives; and many friends.
Charlie was a Christian and a member of the Faith Baptist Church in Maben, Mississippi.
He was carpenter by trade, working in commercial construction. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Charlie was an avid Razorbacks fan.
Most of all, Charlie enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He will truly be missed by his family and friends.
Funeral services for Charles Robert Privett, Sr. will be held on Friday, October 22. 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Thayer, Missouri with Brother Charles Morgan officiating.
The family will receive friends on Friday, October 22, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. to service time at Carter Funeral Home in Thayer, Missouri.
Burial will be on Friday, October 22. 2021 in Camp Cemetery in Camp, Arkansas with services under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc. in Thayer, Missouri.

So sorry for your loss. Charlie was a good man. He helped me out many a time, like planting 200 lilac bushes for my landlord, in a very tiny area. He sure got it done though. I have many fond memories of Charlie. Prayers for all of his family.
