Bonnie L. Bowers, 95, passed away January 28, 2026 at Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
She was born March 15, 1930 in Byron, Arkansas, to the late James Calvin Neal and Edna “Chestnut” Neal.
She was married September 1949 to Clifford John Bowers in Kansas City, Missouri, who preceded her in death June 19, 2004.
She is survived by two children Barry Bowers, West Plains and Donna Reardon and husband Terry, Gassville, Arkansas; six grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, James Calvin and Edna Neal; her husband, John Bowers; two children, Calvin Ronald Bowers and Kevin Clifford Bowers; three brothers, Harold, Lindle, and Vernon, and one sister, Venita Minge.
She worked at International Shoe Factory for many years, and loved to grow a garden and raise cows.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 31, 2026 at Carter Funeral Home Chapel in West Plains, Missouri at 2:00 p.m.
Visitation time will be Saturday, January 31, 2026 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Burial will be held at Willow Springs Cemetery, Willow Springs, Missouri, under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc., West Plains, Missouri.

Donna I am so sorry for your loss. I loved doing Bonnies hair. She was a customer in my shop for many years. Will be praying for peace and comfort for all of you.
