Funeral services for Bobby Jake Todd, 78, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, September 16, 2012, at Carter Funeral Home Chapel, West Plains.
He was born the son of the late Earl Henry and Sadie Todd, on March 29, 1934 in Howes Mill, Missouri and died September 13, 2012 in West Plains, Missouri.
He was united in marriage November 22, 1956 in St. Louis, Missouri to Nancy Deckard.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Deckard Todd, of the home, West Plains, Missouri; one son, David Todd, St. Louis, Missouri, and one grandson, Robert Todd, wife Nichole, St. Peters, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Lester Todd; four siblings, Lloyd Todd, Marie Sams, Wilbur Todd, Otis Todd, and five infant siblings.
He was a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather, and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. He loved to sit in his chair and watch the birds and wildlife out his window.
Visitation will be held Saturday, September 15, 2012 from 6-8 p.m. at Carter Funeral Home Chapel,West Plains.
Burial will be in Hickory Grove Cemetery, Oregon County, Missouri, under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc., West Plains.
