Betty Lou (Rogers) Thompson,78. of Mountain Home, AR passed away December 17, 2021 in Mountain Home.  She was born in Monterey, California on June 29, 1943, the daughter of Robert D. Rogers and Rosemary (Earls) Rogers.

She was united in marriage to Freddie Lee Thompson on July 15, 1961.

Betty is survived by her children, Michael Thompson, and wife Janey of Mammoth Spring, AR, and Lesa Webb, and her husband Jeff of Mountain Home, AR; her grandchildren, Jon Thompson, and wife Lindsay, Saren Demaree, and husband Derek, Justin Webb, and Tony Webb, and wife Sarah; five great grandchildren, Xander Thompson, Dallis Demaree, Cruz Thompson, Declyn Demaree, and Jasper Webb; her siblings, Bobby Rogers, and wife Janice, and Kenny Rogers, and wife Diana; numerous nieces, and nephews; other relatives; and friends that loved her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Rosemary Rogers; her beloved husband, Freddie; and one sister, Barbara Collins.

Throughout her entire married life, Betty was a resident of Mammoth Spring, AR until her health caused her to relocate to Mountain Home.  Betty was a devoted wife and doting Nana Betty who always had an open door and cookies ready to eat.  She was a loving bonus nana to many children she cared for. Betty was also an avid seamstress and would make many of her own children’s clothes.  Betty loved to spend time reading her books, growing African violets , taking trips with family, and later in life loved watching cooking shows. Family was the most important thing to Betty, and she always made sure they knew how much they were loved.She will truly be missed by her family, friends, and all those who had the pleasure of meeting her.

Funeral services for Betty L. Thompson will be held on Tuesday, December 21. 2021 at 12:00 p.m. at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Thayer, Missouri.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. to service time at Carter Funeral Home in Thayer, Missouri.

Burial will be on Tuesday, December 21. 2021 in Rose Hill Cemetery in Thayer, Missouri with services under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc. in Thayer, Missouri.
