Barbara Ann Collins

Barbara Ann Collins, daughter of the late Hershall James Lewallen and Evelyn Mary Lehman Lewallen, was born April 28, 1944 in San Francisco, California and died October 22, 2019 in West Plains, Missouri at the age of 75 years.

She is survived by three children, Mark Collins and wife Kathy, Mountain View, Missouri; Gary Collins and wife Shelly, West Plains, Missouri; Sandra Pankey, West Plains, Missouri; special friend, Dean Fine; eight grandchildren, Kayla and husband Stephen; Landon and wife Courtney; Levi and wife Lindsay; Kylie and husband Tommy; Jordan; Brandon; Dustin and wife Mandy; Dylan and wife Sheremy; twelve great grandchildren, Braydon, Parker, Ransom, Ava, Elliott, Addison, Koby, Isaac, Easton, Caitlin, Madison, and Dylan; two great great grandchildren, Malia and Aniyah.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Donna Anderson and Belinda Williams; one brother, Hershall Eugene Lewallen, and one great grandson, Finn Pankey.

She was a member of the New Liberty Baptist Church in West Plains, Missouri. She loved scratching off lottery tickets, listening to Merle Haggard music, and drinking coffee with family and friends. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother, and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral services will be Friday, October 25, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at  Carter Funeral Home Chapel, West Plains.

Visitation will be Thursday, October 24, 2019 from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. also at Carter Funeral Home Chapel, West Plains.

Burial will be in Howell Memorial Park Cemetery, Howell County, Missouri, under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc., West Plains.

    I am very sorry for your lost. Never knew any of family expect for her grandfather . Her mother was my half sister. I remember uncle Era well . Really loved him ,was kind man. He and dad were great friends
