Vladik Nadtochayev, age 21, of Willow Springs, Missouri, died August 18, 2019 at Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains, Missouri.
He was born the son of Alex and Nadia Nadtochayev on October 2nd 1997.

Emma Jean Jeffries was born in Koshkonong, Missouri, the daughter of Homer York and Grace Pressley York on April 7, 1927 and departed this life on August 17, 2019 at her home in St. Charles, Missouri, at the age of 92 years.
She was united in marriage to Arthur Jeffries on February 15, 1946 in Oregon County, Missouri. He preceded her in death on September 13, 1976.
She is survived by her son, Lynn Jeffries and wife, Marla, of West Plains, Missouri; her daughter, Vicki Powell and husband, Bob, of St. Louis, Missouri; one sister, Sue Taylor of Imperial, Missouri; twelve grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; other relatives; and countless friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Jeffries; her parents, Homer and Grace York; two sons, Jim and Jerry Jeffries; and three brothers, Mitchell, Herb and Ray York.
Emma Jean was a devoted homemaker, caring her family and their home most of her life. She enjoyed reading and watching television. Most of all, she loved spending time and taking care of her family.
Emma Jean will be remembered as a loving and caring mother, grandmother, sister and a friend to all. She will truly be missed by all that knew her.
Funeral services for Emma Jean Jeffries will be held Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at 2:00 PM at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Thayer with Brother Charlie Cochran officiating.
The family will receive friends at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday evening from 6-8 PM.
Interment will be in Shiloh Grand Gulf Cemetery with services under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc in Thayer.
Ernestine DeFalco was born in Blytheville, Arkansas, the daughter of Ed Mattox and Pearl Stokes Croney on March 27, 1938 and departed this life on August 12, 2019 at her home in Sparks, Nevada, at the age of 81 years.
She was united in marriage to Joseph DeFalco on February 14, 1981 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He preceded her in death.
She is survived by her four children, Kenneth Pierce and wife, Wende, of Newhall, California, Linda Rutledge and husband, Randy, of Rochelle, Illinois, Tena Brown and husband, Charles, of Sparks, Nevada and Gary Pierce of Manila, Arkansas; six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; two sisters; many nieces and nephews; other relatives; and countless friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph DeFalco; her parents, Ed and Pearl; one child, Shela Pierce; four sisters; and one brother.
Ernestine worked at General Motors in Auto Assembly, retiring after seventeen years of dedicated service. She loved to do needle point and quilting, making beautiful creations for her loved ones. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.
Ernestine will be remembered as a loving and caring mother, grandmother, sister and a friend to all. She will truly be missed by all that knew her.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 19, 2019 at 1:00 PM at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Thayer, Missouri with Brother Jared Russell officiating.
Interment will be held at Thayer Cemetery in Thayer, Missouri with arrangements under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc. in Thayer, Missouri.
Lawrence Dale ‘L.D.’ Dunavin was born in Thayer, Missouri, the son of Paul Matthew Dunavin and Opal Lucille Malone Dunavin on August 15, 1929. He departed this life on August 9, 2019 at his home in Pittsburg, Missouri at the age of 89 years, just a few days before his 90th birthday.
He was united in marriage to Wilma Louise Howell on August 15, 1946, just a few days short of celebrating their 73rd wedding anniversary.
He is survived by his wife, Wilma Dunavin, of the home in Pittsburg, Missouri; his two daughters, Linda Boettger (Kent) and Beverly Casteel; two sisters, Paula Duffy (Dino) and Barbara Stewart; four brothers, Dan Dunavin (Peggy), Dennis Dunavin, Garry Dunavin (Fran) and Terry Dunavin (Annie); five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; other relatives; and countless friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Dunavin and Opal Staton; his son, Larry Dunavin; grandparents, Elvis (Bullet) and Florence Malone; and two brothers, Bob and Rod Dunavin.
L.D. was a carpenter by trade and worked himself up to Superintendent on many commercial construction jobs in the Omaha area and the job he was most proud of, the Monastery in Schyler, Nebraska.
He and Wilma retired in 1979 to Pomme De Terre Lake area and attended the Pomme De Terre Southern Baptist Church in Pittsburg, Missouri. Their home was often filled with family and friends. Everyone loved to go to Grandma and Grandpa’s house.
L.D. will be remembered as a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, brother and a friend to all. He will truly be missed by all that knew him.
A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, August 12, 2019 at 2:00 PM at the Koshkonong Cemetery in Koshkonong, Missouri.

She was born the daughter of the late Buford Skaggs and Dora Johnson Skaggs, on August 30, 1934 in Howell County, Missouri and died July 26, 2019 in West Plains, Missouri.
She was united in marriage September 8, 1951 in Salem, Arkansas to Lon Judd, who preceded her in death. She was later united in marriage in Howell County, Missouri to Duane Hall, who also preceded her in death.
She is survived by six children, Calvin Judd and wife Karen; Lonnie Judd and wife Nita; Sharon Bramwell and husband, Gregg; Donald Judd; Debbie Phenix; Danny Hall; two sisters, Catherine Bray and Karen Henry and two brothers, Kenneth Skaggs and John Skaggs and wife Gay; son-in-law, Tom Clack; brother-in-law, Tom Wiles; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by both husbands, Lon Judd and Duane Hall; one daughter, Barbara Clack; one sister Gayle Wiles and one brother, Jessie Joe Skaggs.
She attended the Genesis Church in West Plains. She loved antique cars and going to car shows, quilting, and watching the Sunday morning preachers on television. She was a big fan of Larry’s Country Diner on tv.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, and can be left at Carter Funeral Home, West Plains.
Visitation will be on Sunday, July 28, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Carter Funeral Home Chapel, West Plains.
Burial will be in Howell Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc., West
