Funeral services for Arthur R. Camp, 85, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 17, 2012, at Carter Funeral Home Chapel, West Plains, with Reverend Richard Todd, Reverend. David Case, and Carl Williams officiating, under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, West Plains.
He was born the son of the late Arthur Elbert Camp and Elsie Camp, on October 6, 1926 in Brush, Colorado and died March 13, 2012 in West Plains, Missouri.
He is survived by his lifetime companion, Louise Huddleston; fourteen children, Kathy, Phyllis, Judy, Ricky D., Vicki, Arthur A., Ralph, Ronnie, Ricky R., Randall, Rodney, Joey, Penny, and Sherry; one brother, LeRoy Camp and wife, Muriel; nephew, Ronald and wife, Alice, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Sherry Lynn; one brother, Irving Camp, and two sisters. He served his country with the United States Army during WWII. He was employed with Case Tractor Company for many years, and later after retiring worked on his farm.
Visitation will be Friday, March 16, 2012 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Carter Funeral Home Chapel, West Plains.
Burial will be in Woodside Cemetery, Thomasville, Missouri, under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc., West Plains.
