So sorry about the passing of Dick. He was a friend in our early years of life and will be missed by everyone that knew him. He was a 1956 classmate of Thayer High, a buddy we had some really fun times on the near by creeks together. Dick did take ownership of the barbershop from my brother Boyd, a bond of friendship forever. I remember his family and them living just outside town. His quick smile, his mild manor will forever be remembered. My deepest sympathy to Dick’s family at this really hard time.

My sympathy to Dick’s family. During the last few months of my late husband’s life (Jessie Martin) he wasn’t able to go to the barbershop. His friend, Dick, came to our house several times to cut Jessie’s hair and shave him. Such a good friend!
