Jerry Dean Huebner was born April 12, 1947 in Storm Lake, Iowa, the son of Lester Herman Huebner and Ruth Elvira Johnson Huebner, and departed this life June 14, 2021 in West Plains, Missouri at the age of 74.
Jerry is survived by three children, Stacy Huebner, Zachary Huebner and Sara of Boonville, Missouri, and Cassie Huebner of Strafford, Missouri; two grandchildren, Alex Hutchinson and Lola Shikles; two sisters, Lori Forester and husband Roy of Koshkonong, Missouri and Colleen Bussell and husband Terry of West Plains, Missouri; one brother, Yancey Crone and wife Brenda of Mulberry, Arkansas; other relatives; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lester Huebner; his mother, Ruby Crone; and two brothers, Roger Huebner and Larry Huebner.
Jerry graduated from Koshkonong High School in 1967. He worked in a variety of jobs, including a switchman for the railroad, but he was primarily a crop farmer.
Jerry proudly served in the U.S. Army in the Vietnam War.
He was a Christian and of the Lutheran faith.
Jerry liked gardening, raising many beautiful flowers. He also enjoyed music, usually playing it loud. However, most of all, Jerry loved his family and friends.
He will truly be missed by his family and friends.
Memorial services for Jerry Dean Huebner will be held on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at 11:00 p.m. in Wayside Cemetery in Koshkonong, Missouri with services under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc. in Thayer, Missouri.
