Erma Linda Riley was born the daughter of Robert McWorkman and Clara Belle Walker McWorkman on November 30, 1948, in Mammoth Spring, Arkansas, and departed this life September 21, 2017, at her home in Okmulgee, Oklahoma, at the age of 68 years.

She was united in marriage on May 18, 1968, at Thayer, Missouri, to Raymond Arnold Riley, who preceded her in death on April 16, 2005.

She is survived by three children, Georgie Emo and husband, Jim of Norman, Oklahoma, Tom Riley of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Jared Riley and wife, Leah of Rogersville, Missouri; five grandchildren, Cheyenne Emo, Austin Riley, Keegan Riley, Rylend Hacker, and Brayden Hacker; one brother, Don McWorkman and wife, Janet of Reno, Nevada; one sister, Marie Hoggard of West Plains, Missouri; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Clara Belle McWorkman; her husband, Arnold Riley; one son, Jordan Riley; one brother, Robert McWorkman; and one sister, Jean Brickell.

Linda was a teacher, and taught Special Education classes for many years.

She was an excellent cook and enjoyed reading and visiting with her family and friends.

She was a Christian and attended Jubilee Christian Center.

Linda will truly be missed by her family and all who knew her.

Funeral services for Linda will be held Wednesday, September 27, 2017, at 2:00 PM at Spring River Baptist Church, near Hardy, Arkansas, with Brother Terry James officiating.

The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday from 1:00 PM until service time.

Burial will be in Bronaugh Cemetery, near Hardy, Arkansas, with services under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc. in Thayer.

    Great to have known Linda her mother an father and Riley a close friend, when we were young. Some wonderful memories, now so sorry for the family. Linda will be missed greatly by all who knew her. My deepest sympathy.
