Barbara Yuvonne Dillard was born the daughter of James L. Collins and Hazel (Robinson) Collins on November 1, 1948, in Mammoth Spring, Arkansas, and departed this life January 8, 2015, at her home in Thayer, Missouri, at the age of 66 years.
She was united in marriage on March 11, 1966, in Hardy, Arkansas, to Ray Joseph Dillard, who preceded her in death on May 7, 2005.
She is survived by four special grandchildren, Tony Meeker, Kevin Dillard, Ricky Dillard, Jr. and Shawn Coffelt; four great-grandchildren, Samantha Meeker, Sarah Meeker, Tonya Coffelt Dowell and Dalton Coffelt; two great great- grandchildren; one brother, Darrell Collins of Thayer, Missouri; one sister, Shirley Ward and husband, Bobby of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Hazel Collins; her husband, Ray Dillard; one brother, Delmer Collins; three sisters, Zola Case, Margie Pendarvis and Juanita Cotham; and an infant brother.
Von owned and operated Dillard Insurance Agency and worked as bookkeeper at Dillard Well Drilling for many years.
She was deeply devoted to her grandchildren and enjoyed gardening, cooking, and visiting with family and friends.
She was of the Baptist faith and loved attending church. She will be remembered as a loving and caring grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt. She will truly be missed by all.
Funeral Services will be Sunday, January 11, 2015, at 2:00 PM at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Thayer, Missouri with Brother Richard Robinson officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday evening, January 10th from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery in Mammoth Spring, Arkansas.

Sending prayers and a big hug… Von was so special to me. We rode together when we were both going to school at Ozarka and we had some really good times. I hope that all the happy memories will get you through the grief after you have had some time to heal. She was loved and will be deeply missed. My heart goes out to all of you….
