Danny Dewayne Break, age 61, of Thayer, Missouri passed away February 5, 2023, in Springfield, Missouri. Danny was born May 12, 1961, to J.W. and Imogene (Rutledge) Break in West Plains, Missouri.
Danny was in the Army and loved serving his country. In his younger years he loved to go hunting, fishing, and tinkering with his car. He loved being with his family and friends.
Danny was a member of Faith Trinity Holiness Church in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. He will be missed by all that knew him and he will forever be in our hearts and thoughts.
He is survived by his mom Imogene, husband Wayne Barnes; one sister Jaylene, husband Bobby Ryan; one brother Terry Break; nephew Bobby Ryan III, wife Rebecca; two very special great nephews Bobby IV and Boone; two very special great nieces Baylee and Brouke; three nieces Amber, Angel and Tara; plus, many more family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father J.W.; one niece Amanda Faith Ryan; maternal grandparents Lewis and Iva Rutledge; and paternal grandparents Nathan and Ruthie Break
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Thayer, Missouri. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 8, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Carter Funeral Home in Thayer, Missouri.
Interment will be on Thursday, February 9, 2023, in Thayer Cemetery, Thayer Missouri with services under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc. in Thayer, Missouri.

I enjoyed working with Danny at Harp’s, he was a hard worker and loved working there. He delivered meals to seniors then came to work at Harp’s 6 days a week until he injured his back. I really missed him when he had to quit. He was a good guy.
