I always enjoyed visiting with Dorris. He and I often shared trapping stories when I would meet him at the feed store or gas station. The family is in our prayers.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. He was always such a kind and friendly man and a very good neighbor. I’ve had the pleasure of knowing him since my family moved back to Alton in 1969 and he and Truman dug the basement for us. Always smiling and as ready to work as he was to visit, even with a kid who had lots of questions. I will always remember Dorris very fondly and am thankful that I had the pleasure to know him. May God comfort your hearts.

    Aunt Greatle & Tommy,

Even though Donna and I weren’t able to be with you during this time, our thoughts and prayers have been there. Growing up Uncle Doris was my 2nd dad and I have so many good memories of him.

May God give you comfort and peace during your times of sorrow and may He always bring a smile to your face as you remember Uncle Doris.

    We love you,

    Mike and Donna
