Linda Martin

Linda Ann Martin was born the daughter of Earl Dickey and Mildred (Collins) Dickey on September 8, 1953, in Sharp County, Arkansas, and died March 18, 2017, at her home in Mammoth Spring, Arkansas, at the age of 63 years.

She was united in marriage on September 26, 1971, at Hardy, Arkansas, to Billy Roy Martin, who preceded her in death on June 20, 1997.

She is survived by five children, Billy Roy Martin, Jr. and wife, Tywana of Mammoth Spring, Sally Ann Arredondo and husband, Adolfo of Alvin, Texas, Deanna Lea Stephens and husband, Aubrey, Amy Gail Stephens and husband, Gene, and Sarah Rae Reed and husband, Rodney, all of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas; sixteen grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; her mother-in-law, Lorene Martin of Mammoth Spring; two brothers, Ed Dickey of Mammoth Spring and Hershel Dickey of Cave City, Arkansas; one nephew, Charles Dickey; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Earl and Mildred Dickey; and two grandchildren, Zaiden Blaine Reed and Joshua Ryan Mullins.

Linda worked as a cook at Fred’s Fish House in Mammoth Spring for several years.

She loved to be outdoors and enjoyed music and traveling.

She dearly loved her family and will truly be missed by all who knew her.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 21, 2017, at 2:00 PM at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Thayer with Minister Aubrey Stephens officiating.

Visitation will be Monday, March 20th  from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Field Creek Cemetery.
